Corrections

The Load Report is largely automated, and automation makes mistakes: a story tagged to the wrong county, a summary that misstates its source article, a docket date that does not match the government body’s own notice. When that happens we want to know.

Send corrections to corrections@theloadreport.com. Include the story or event, what is wrong, and — ideally — a link to the source that shows the correct information. We review every report against the original reporting, fix confirmed errors in the next site refresh (the site rebuilds several times a day), and log meaningful corrections below.

Two things that are not errors, described further on the Methodology page: a story shown as “Headline only” (we could not retrieve the article’s text, so we decline to summarize it), and a docket date marked “unconfirmed” (extracted from reporting, not yet verified against an official notice).
